The theatre department at Pratt Community College produces several productions each year. Drawing both from student actors and those from the community, the program provides a well rounded experience for its students. A fall dramatic or comedic production is produced in December each year as well as a large scale musical in the spring. Reader's Theatre and Comedy Review type productions are also done with enough demand. In addition, student groups read stories at the local library and sometimes tour the local elementary schools with small scale one act plays of children's books, etc. Theatre scholarships are available for students wishing to major in theatre or participate in theatre on stage or behind the scenes. Auditions are necessary.
