Criminal Justice

 The Criminal Justice/Police Science program is taught in association with Dodge City Community College.
 
The program:
• focuses on career preparation in various criminal justice fields and correctional systems
• designed to provide a board-based introduction to criminal justice and correctional systems
• provide training in specialized fields including law enforcement of adults and juveniles, the court system, jails, prisons, community corrections, intermediate corrections and juvenile correctional facilities
 
Students may complete a certificate program in Criminal Justice/Police Science. The certificate program is recommended for students who are not seeking an academic or technical degree and do not intend to transfer to a four-year institution. Completion of the certificate program requires 30 credit hours. Speak with the CJC program advisor to complete the hours for the Criminal Justice/Police Science certificate.

PCC to start criminal justice program with DCCC

Next fall Pratt Community College will partner with Dodge City Community College to start a criminal justice program.
 
The agreement was signed by the two schools on April 30 announcing the cooperation.
 
Students will be able to take courses on PCC’s campus via Interactive Television (ITV) from DCCC’s site.
