The Criminal Justice /Police Science program is taught in association with Dodge City Community College.
The program focuses on career preparation in various criminal justice fields and correctional systems and is designed to provide a broad-based introduction to criminal justice and correctional systems. We provide training in specialized fields including law enforcement of adults and juveniles, the court system, jails, prisons, community corrections, intermediate corrections and juvenile correctional facilities.
Students may complete a certificate program in Criminal Justice/Police Science. The certificate program is recommended for students who are not seeking an academic or technical degree and do not intend to transfer to a four-year institution. Completion of the certificate program requires 30 credit hours. Speak with the CJC program advisor to complete the hours for the Criminal Justice/Police Science certificate.
