The 4 x 100 relay also placed, taking 3rd. Harris won the high jump with a leap of 6'4". Justin McGuire took 4th place in the discus with a throw of 120'11". The 4x100m relay of Curtis Colbert, James Mason, Dexter Dietz and Vondrell Harris took 3rd with a time of 44.91. The 4x100m relay team could have managed a better time, however the last leg was cut off by another team that would eventually get disqualified. Freshman Logan Keiswetter continued his year long improvement, dropping 4 seconds off his indoor 800m time to get it to 2:04. "Must be that warmer weather! This was a good chance for us to get out and compete at a low key event. I'm very pleased with the effort we've had since indoor ended. Our team is more focused and working a lot harder," said Head Coach Cyrus Hall. The Beavers are currently on Spring Break and will return to run at the Alex Francis Invitational and Distance Classic at Fort Hays State University on March 28-29 in Hays, Kansas.
