The PCC Men's Basketball Team dug a 36 point hole in the first half and could not climb out in a Region VI first round loss to Independence on Wednesday night. Pratt's shooting woes continued in the second half, leading to a 98-53 loss. Pratt ended the season at 11-20.
The Beavers were led in scoring by Alex Rivas with 14. Marvin Jackson was the only other Beaver in double figures with 11.
Pratt shot only 27 percent for the game. They hit on 3 of 20 three point attempts for 15 percent. They were much better at the line where they hit on 18 of 26 for 70 percent. Turnovers caused a good deal of their misfortune. Pratt had 24 to Independence's 8.
