Henry Stetina and Erik Gress fell short of their goal to finish in the top fifteen at Nationals this year. Stetina, the tip golfer in Region VI, managed a 78, 73, 79, 75—305 for a seventy-first place finish. Gress was close behind with 76, 79, 75, 78—308 to come in eighty-sixth.
Pratt’s top two golfers traveled with Coach Rod Snyder to Scottsboro, Alabama, to compete for four days at the Goose Pond Colony Golf Course. The field consisted of 118 golfers, including last year’s 12 under par medalist, Brent Witcher from Albany, Georgia. This year’s medalist, T.J. Redding from Kirkwood CC (IA), was eleven under. Twelve golfers finished even or under par.
