Beaver Softball Earns Four All-Region Honors

The PCC Softball Team saw four players selected to the 2007 All-Region VI Team. Garnering first team recognition was pitcher Alisha Neushwanger. On the second team were Brooke Bell (catcher), Traci Doty (third base) Jen Reifschneider (first base).

Neushwanger, Pratt’s top ace on the mound, had an ERA of 2.28 in 181 innings pitched. She had 56 strikeouts, allowed 175 hits, and gave up 13 home runs.

Brooke Bell hit .362 with 43 RBI. She crossed the plate 35 times and collected 55 hits. Her slugging percentage was .526.

Traci Doty hit .394 with a team high 53 RBI. She also led the team in home runs with 9. Her slugging percentage was .697, and she had only 20 strikeouts.

Reifschneider led the team with a .398 average for the year, with 52 RBI. Her slugging percentage was .646. She had 25 doubles and 5 home runs.
