The PCC Softball team defeated visiting Brown-Mackie at Angood Field on Wednesday in dramatic fashion with two late game clutch hits. PCC won the first game 2-1 and the nightcap 8-5.

In game one, Alicia Neuschwanger picked up the win, allowing only two hits and one run. She recorded seven strikeouts.

On the offensive end, Giselle Guzman drove in both Pratt runs with a pinch hit single in the bottom of the sixth, scoring Jen Reifschneider and Traci Doty.

In game two, Doty provided the heroics with a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth. At the time, Pratt was down 5-3. Doty scored Reifschneider, Jeanae Ricke, and Luisa Escobar.

Giselle Guzman got the win, pitching five innings, allowing eight hits and three earned runs. Neuschwanger got the save.

Pratt hosts Hutchinson at 3:00 and 5:00 on Thursday.
