The Pratt Community College Academic Excellence Team returned home from the Hutchinson Community College Snow Bowl on Saturday, December 1 with a second place finish overall.

Academic Excellence competitions are a quiz bowl type of event with questions in a variety of categories answered by a small team of individuals. The PCC team consists of Michelle Leddy of Conway Springs, Emily McIntosh, Boris Jovanovic and Joe Schmisseur all of Pratt.

Seven teams, representing five community colleges, competed in the competition. Schmisseur was named the third most valuable player throughout the whole event.
