As a member of the tradition-rich Jayhawk West Conference, the PCC Men’s Basketball Team, with head coach Jesse Shaw, will look to establish itself as an annual contender for the conference and regional championship. The  coaching staff here at PCC prides themselves in their ability to recruit talented, quality individuals to represent the school and community. PCC Basketball also takes pride in molding their student-athletes into next-level caliber players on the court, and men ready for life off of it.

Beaver Backer Sloppy Joe Feed

The Pratt Beaver Backers are hosting a Sloppy Joe Feed for an athletic fund raiser on Wednesday 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. $5.00 will get you a drink, sloppy Joe and dessert. Come eat, drink and be merry and then watch the Beaver Men and Women’s Basketball Teams seek revenge against arch rival Hutchinson Blue Dragons.

Men's Basketball Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive

The PCC Men's Basketball Team held on for a crucial 78-65 win against visiting Garden City on Wednesday night.  Pratt had built a 22 point lead in the second half, but allowed it to be cut to 8 before recovering and finishing with the 13 point margin.  Pratt put together a stellar first half that included 16 points from Nikolas Skouen, resulting in a 22 point halftime lead.

Men's BB Can't Sustain Momentum Against Seward

The PCC Men’s Basketball team had several impressive runs on Wednesday, but could not sustain the momentum in a 74-88 loss to Seward at the Dennis Lesh Arena in Pratt. Pratt fell to 3-8, 12-13 with the loss. Seward improved to 10-2, 22-4.

Men's BB Must Have Next Two

The PCC Men's Basketball Team fell to the Butler Grizzlies 56-72 on Saturday night, and now have their backs against the wall for the final two regular season games.  The Beavers need to have both wins and a Colby loss to Barton in order to advance to the playoffs.  Against Butler, the Beavers came out firing and playing inspired ball, keeping the game close in the first half. ...more »

Taylor and Skouen Hold Off Grizzlie Attack

Nikolas Skouen and Terry Taylor had huge games on Saturday night, providing PCC with a much needed 87-81 win over Butler.  Skouen's five threes, four in the second half, and Taylor's 28 points could not have come at a better time for the Beavers, who had lost six of their past seven games.  Pratt improved to 2-4 and 11-9.  Butler dropped to 2-3 and 12-7.
