"I’m originally from South Texas, down between Houston and Galveston. I was actually recruited last year for shot put and discus. I told the coach at the time that I wanted to play volleyball. If I couldn’t do track and volleyball at the same time, I wasn’t coming. After being told I could play volleyball, I needed some signs to show me this is where I was supposed to be. My high school just finished doing the Wizard of Oz production. I thought that was the biggest sign I could get. Then, I had to do a school project that was based in Kansas. Little things just kept popping up that were Kansas based and I decided this is where I need to be.

My overall college experience here at PCC has been awesome. I am studying Sports Management and Communications. I am involved with volleyball, Encore, and Student Admissions Representatives. I am blessed to be involved with such family oriented groups. Since I am in multiple activities and I have met so many people, it’s like I have the whole college behind me. "
