PCC Hires Head Men’s Soccer Coach
Pratt Community College is pleased to announce the hiring of Kevin Kewley as the new Head Men’s Soccer Coach. Kewley began his tenure with PCC in 2010 when he founded the soccer program together with Head Women’s Coach Jerrid Schicke. He continued coaching through the 2012 season, after which he began as head coach at Barton Community College, where his team was the 2013 KJCCC conference co-champions. Kewley returns to PCC to commence the 2014 season with great enthusiasm.
“I am happy to be back in Pratt and am looking forward to strengthening the program,” said Kewley.
Kewley is originally from Liverpool, England and played with the Liverpool Football Club until 1978. Kewley also played with the Dallas Tornadoes for four seasons from 1976 to 1979. In 1979, he moved to Wichita where he played with the Wichita Wings indoor soccer team for 11 seasons, before moving on as the Wings’ assistant coach and then head coach.
