Your Beaver Men’s Soccer program sent two teams, one consisting of all Freshmen and the other of all Sophomores, to compete in Hesston College’s annual 6v6 Indoor tournament in Hesston, Kan. on Feb. 15. On the other side of the bracket, the sophomore team went 3-0-1 in group play (PCC-3/Central Christian-3; PCC-7/McPherson-6; PCC-5/Hesston-2). Pratt’s sophomores finished first in their group and received a first-round playoff bye.

Both teams wanted a shot at the championship. The match ended with Pratt’s freshmen team advancing to the championship match with the final score of (6-3).
With the support of their sophomore teammates, Pratt’s freshman faced off against Bethel College for the title. The game was back and forth but your Beaver Freshmen took home the championship with a score of (4-1).
Cesar Ramirez and Samuel Nobo led the freshmen squad in offensive output with 10 and four goals apiece. Callum Strang and Braulio Morales led the sophomore squad with seven and five goals apiece. Both teams had great defensive contribution from all players involved and were solidified with Luis Soto and Benjamin Rivera as goalkeepers.
