Pratt Community College announces their hours for the Summer of 2017.

Summer hours begin Monday, May 22, 2017 and will extend through Friday, July 28, 2017. Operating business hours will be  7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Benefits - Faculty FT

Professional Faculty Benefits (1.0 FTE)

Monthly Allowance:
• Negotiated through PHEA. May retain the cash or use to purchase health insurance, life insurance, make savings or annuity contributions, etc.
• 2017-2018 allowance $521.50/month

Sick Leave:
• Ten (10) days per year first three years
• Fifteen (15) days per year every year thereafter
• Accumulative to 90 days

• Necessary leave per occurrence as approved by the Administration

Personal Leave:
• Two (2) days per year, non-accumulative

Professional Leave:
• Four (4) days per year, non-accumulative

Flexible Benefit Plan:
• Group health insurance premiums, child or dependent care, and medical expenses may be paid for with tax-free dollars

Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS):
• Mandatory contribution of *6% of gross pay toward retirement
• Term life insurance equal to 150% of annual salary
• Disability insurance after 180 days of disability
*Note – The Legislature passed changes that will increase Tier 1 contributions to 6% in 2015.

403(b) Plan - optional (OMNI):
• Professional Employees will have the option of participating in a 403(b) plan. The Board shall match up to $50.00 per month of contributions made by a Professional Employee.

• Employee, spouse & dependent children may attend PCC campus classes tuition free

Group Health Insurance:
• Medical and dental coverage may be purchased with allowance dollars
