Pratt Community College signs articulation agreement with Baker University

10 January 2013

Officials at Pratt Community College and Baker University have partnered to create an articulation agreement to increase transferability of Pratt Community College credits to Baker.

The agreement with Baker University will allow for PCC students to transfer their credits earned at PCC to Baker upon completion at PCC. This partnership will enable students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Arts at PCC to transfer 100 percent of their coursework to Baker, and allows for students with a 2.6 GPA or better academic acceptance into Baker University upon applying.

"This articulation agreement provides assurance to our students that the credits they earn will not only transfer, but will fulfill degree requirements," said Jim Stratford, Vice President of Instruction. "Our students greatly benefit from this process."

Currently Pratt Community College has agreements with every state university for general transfer. This agreement marks the first agreement between PCC and a private college in the state of Kansas.

Other partnerships PCC has include an RN-to-BSN agreement with the University of Kansas, National American University, and the University of Phoenix.
