Two PCC Students Named All-Kansas Scholars

Two Pratt Community College students were chosen to represent PCC for their achievements in academic excellence at the community college level for all of Kansas.

Riley Washington and Chariah Daniels were honored at an awards ceremony and luncheon held for All-Kansas Scholars in Junction City, Kansas. Students are selected based on outstanding academic achievement as well as accomplishments and services rendered outside the classroom.

PCC Shooting Sports Team Competes at ACUI Nationals in San Antonio, TX

The Pratt Community College shooting team competed at the ACUI National Shotgun Championships in San Antonio, Tex. last week. Several students carded their personal best scores at the nation’s largest collegiate shooting competition.

34th Annual Scholarship Auction Set for May 6, 2022

The 34th Annual Scholarship Auction is scheduled for May 6, 2022.

The Scholarship Auction will be back on campus this year at Dennis Lesh Sports Arena, and all funds raised will support PCC Scholarships. The money raised is utilized as funds awards to approximately 90 students.

Pizza with the President Event Resumes at PCC

PCC’s Pizza with the President event resumed during the Spring 2022 semester.

PCC President Dr. Michael Calvert meets with students in the residence halls on campus with a pizza dinner to talk with students and hear honest feedback about their experiences at PCC.

Students give shout outs, likes, dislikes and concerns. Residence Life staff take notes on all of the points discussed at each meeting. Student concerns are then presented by Dr. Calvert to the appropriate departments, members of cabinet and/or the Board of Trustees to be evaluated and addressed.

High school seniors are invited to share digital portfolios for critique and feedback with Art faculty at PCC! This event takes place on March 22, 2022.

Meet virtually with Art instructors Valarie Dellrocco or Dave Freeman, who are available to meet with students via Zoom to discuss student works on March 22, 2022.

This is a wonderful opportunity for high school seniors to get to meet with PCC faculty and share their Art portfolio! Art scholarships are also available.

PCC Performing Arts Presents The Wizard of Oz

You may recall in December 2021, PCC held open auditions for roles of all ages for the Performing Arts production of The Wizard of Oz.
 
The roles have been cast, the costuming and stage decorations are bursting with color and creativity, and now the time is near for the show to blossom on campus at Carpenter Auditorium on campus at PCC April 1-3, 2022.
 
And now there is a fun dinner option for the show on Saturday, April 2nd.
