K.I.D.S Matching Grant
The K.I.D.S Matching Grant Program helps Kansas families with incomes less than 200 percent of the federal poverty level save for their children's post-secondary education. The state of Kansas will match contributions made to the student's Learning Quest account this year up to $600.
This is in addition to the tax advantages and other benefits available to all families who use the Learning Quest 529 Education SAvings Program to prepare for the cost of continuing their students' education after high school. Most of the students who qualify for free school lunches will also qualify for the K.I.D.S. incentive.
