Welding Technology

Program Features

The Pratt Community College Welding Program is a hands-on program. Welding students work in a shop environment with newly-purchased equipment that they will find in the welding industry. The qualified faculty are CWE master technicians and are constantly learning the latest technology and earning new certifications vital for finding a job in industry.

PCC acquired a new welding shop and classes began at the new location in Fall 2022. Students have the opportunity to do real work projects for customers in the live shop, building needed work experience valuable to the workforce.
