Solar Power Technology

Students in the solar energy program will be able to take classes both on campus and as a hybrid course. The certificate program with a paid summer internship will prepare students for entry level work designing, installing, repairing and maintaining Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems.

The program will also prepare students to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Entry Level Solar Photovoltaic Installer exam. Students will be responsible for construction and maintenance of the Pratt Community College Solar Power Technology Mobile Lab.
