Club 62+ Senior Program
What is Club 62+?
Club 62+ is a programming and discount service for senior citizens 62+ years of age in the Pratt Community College Service area of Pratt, Kiowa, Barber, Kingman, Harper, Comanche and Stafford counties. In addition to great programs exclusively for our members, such as casino trips, special speakers and murder mysteries, seniors may receive a discount card entitling them to:
- One-half price admission to college athletic events
- Tuition scholarships for all college courses
- Free admission to college cultural events for which students are admitted free

Fall 2015 Events
RSVPs are open for all events at this time. Call 620-450-2192 to RSVP. Transportation is provided to all out of town trips. It is suggested that you arrive 15-30 minutes before the scheduled leaving time for your seating convenience.
Payment is not required till the day of the event, but participants who cancel without 48 hours’ notice will still be assessed the full cost of the activity. When you register for an event, you can expect a courtesy call a few days before as a reminder and confirmation of your attendance.
Tanganyika // Sept. 25, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Transportation will be provided to the zoo. When we get there we will take a 30 minute tour with a zoo employee to learn about a few of the animals. You will then have time to explore the zoo on your own. You will be responsible for your own lunch. We must have 15 or more people to make this trip possible.

|Dillon Lecture Series // Oct. 6, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

This Lecture Series is presented by Hutchinson Community College. Derreck Kayongo came to the U.S. as a child refugee. He, along with his wife Sarah, founded The Global Soap Project, which reuses partially-used hotel soaps into new bars that are distributed to the needy, particularly in Africa. His group donates over a million bars annually to more than 20 countries around the world. We will lunch afterwards at the Dutch Kitchen; your lunch cost is up to you. Average entrée price is $7 - $11. Must have 20 or more to make this trip possible.
|“Night on Broadway” // Oct. 18, 2:30 p.m.

The PCC Performing Arts department presents “Night on Broadway” which features music from many different Broadway shows sung by a wide variety of students and community members.
|Casino Day // Oct. 23, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
RSVP by Oct. 16
Transportation will be provided to the casino in Dodge City. You will be responsible for your own lunch. We must have 20 or more people to make this trip possible.

|Wreath Festival// Nov. 18, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Wreath Festival will feature wreaths, holiday gifts of all kinds, delicious baked goods, festive music, and special exhibits. Lunch will be served on both days from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Must have 20 or more to make this trip possible.
|“Christmas to Remember” // Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m.
The PCC Performing Arts department presents a “Christmas to Remember” with the first half of the shows focus being more on the entertaining side of Christmas and the second half focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, with more religious numbers.
|Handel's Messiah // Dec. 6, 1:30 p.m.

Few works evoke the pure joy of the holidays more than Handel’s “Messiah.” Take delight in his jubilant melodies and unmistakable “Hallelujah” Chorus. With orchestrations by none other than Mozart, this BIG Messiah will lift the spirits of all as we begin the holiday season of celebrations. Featuring the Wichita Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Must have 20 or more to make this trip possible.
