Club 62+ Senior Program
What is Club 62+?
Club 62+ is a programming and discount service for senior citizens 62+ years of age in the Pratt Community College Service area of Pratt, Kiowa, Barber, Kingman, Harper, Comanche and Stafford counties. In addition to great programs exclusively for our members, such as casino trips, special speakers and murder mysteries, seniors may receive a discount card entitling them to:
- One-half price admission to college athletic events
- Tuition scholarships for all college courses
- Free admission to college cultural events for which students are admitted free
Spring 2015 Events
RSVPs are open for all events at this time. Call 620-450-2113 to RSVP. Transportation is provided to all out of town trips. It is suggested that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled leaving time for your seating convenience.
Payment is not required till the day of the event, but participants who cancel without 48 hours’ notice will still be assessed the full cost of the activity. When you register for an event, you can expect a courtesy call a few days before as a reminder and confirmation of your attendance.

Transportation will be provided to the casino in Mulvane. You will be responsible for your own lunch. We must have 20 or more people to make this trip possible.

|Bread Baking Class. RSVP by March 10.
Join Pratt Community College Board Chairwoman Michele Hamm in this bread baking workshop. We will work with bread in different stages, and all participants will knead their own dough to take home and bake. Bring one cookie sheet from home. All other supplies provided. Meet in the PCC cafeteria kitchen in the Riney Student Conference Center.
|Botanica Wichita and Museum of World Treasures. RSVP by March 23
We will visit the Botanica Gardens in Wichita, followed by lunch at Delano Barbecue Company (average entrée price is $6.25 – 8.95). We will stop at the Museum of World Treasures before returning to Pratt. Your lunch cost is up to you.

|J.B. Bernstein in the Dillon Lecture Series. RSVP by March 30.
This Lecture Series is presented by Hutchinson Community College. After his high-profile clients retired, sports agent J.B. Bernstein felt detached from the profession, sparking his search for India's first major league pitcher. Inspired by “American Idol,” he created “Million Dollar Arm” — an Indian reality-TV contest that scoured the country in search of its finest baseball talent. The film by the same name was released in 2014 starring Jon Hamm. Transportation will be provided. We will lunch afterwards at the Dutch Kitchen, your lunch cost is up to you. Average entrée price is $7 - $11. Must have 20 or more to make this trip possible.
