The Pratt County High School Senior Grant has been established by the Pratt Community College Board of Trustees to provide tuition assistance for all graduating high school seniors who are residents of Pratt County or from a Pratt County high school, for the academic term (summer, fall, or spring) within three years of high school graduation. The grant will be given for an academic, technical, or health related program or for participation in an extracurricular activity or athletics.

The Pratt County High School Senior Grant will entitle the student to a maximum of $ 350 per semester, not to exceed a total award of $ 1,400. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

The student is responsible for the remainder of tuition, fees, and book costs. Students may apply for other scholarships offered by the college. If the total scholarship award, i.e., the Pratt County High School Senior Grant plus other scholarships, is $ 800 or more per year, the student must enroll in and maintain a minimum course load of 16 credit hours per semester or 32 credit hours per year. Application deadline for the Pratt County High School Senior Grant is August 1 of each year. Application procedures for students applying for the Pratt County High School Senior Grant are as follows:

1. Complete a PCC scholarship application and return it to the Financial Aid Office.
2. Complete the application for Federal Financial Aid. Applicants may be eligible for funds to cover additional costs for tuition, fees, and books.
