Compensation and Benefits
The President may not jeopardize fiscal integrity or public image with respect to employment, compensation and benefits to employees, consultants, and contract workers.
Accordingly, the President may not:
- Change his or her own compensation and benefits.
- Provide for or change the compensation and benefits of other employees except in accordance with collective bargaining agreements entered into by the Board or when an increase in workload requires additional time on the job above what is called for by the original contract.
- Promise or imply permanent or guaranteed employment.
- Employ administrators under contract for longer than one year's duration without Board approval.
- Grant fringe benefits not approved by the Board.
