Beaver Backers

 

The mission of the PCC Beaver Backers is to facilitate and promote activities of the college’s Athletic Department. The Beaver Backers will work with the Athletic Director to support the needs of the department and raise funds to supplement the department’s budget. It will accomplish this while operating in compliance with the NJCAA rules and regulations.

Beavers overcome early foul trouble to defeat Allen County

Your Beaver Men’s Basketball team faced off against Jayhawk East member Allen County last night in what Coach Shaw reported "turned out to be too exciting of a game for my taste," but the Beavers found a group who wanted to play hard and the right way in the second half, and that group led us to a 9 point victory.

Women defeat Allen County in a close one, 57-54 Beavers

Last night the Beavers were back at home against a much improved Allen County. In the first half Pratt did a great job on the defensive end of limiting Allen to one look and forcing tough shots, holding the Red Devils to 6 of 30 from the field (shooting 20 percent). Women defeat Bethany, move to 4-0 on season

The Women’s team also played their home opener this Saturday night as they took on Bethany Junior Varsity. It was a good chance for the Beavers to clean some things up before a tough upcoming schedule.

Beavers lose in final minute, look to rebound Tuesday

Your Beaver Men’s Basketball team faced its toughest challenge of the year to date against Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa on Saturday night. The game lived up to its billing, a back and forth affair that came down to the wire, but in the end the hometown Beavers came up short 55-57.

Men defeat Hesston, improve to 3-0 on the season

 
The Beaver Men’s Basketball team traveled to Hesston, Kan. Tuesday to take on the Hesston College Larks. The tempo was set from the tip with a Lucas Stivrins dunk on the first possession, and the fellas put the clamps on last season’s number three 3 (26 PPG) and number 11 (21 PPG) scorers in Division II Junior College basketball.
