Jordan Stubbings named KJCCC and NJCAA player of the week

27 October 2016

Pratt Community College men’s soccer ended the season on a high note. The Blue and White finished out with a 2-1 record in the final week of play. But for one of the Beavers, the season ended with national recognition for his play in the final three games.

Jordan Stubbings was named the player of the week not just from the Jayhawk conference, but from the NJCAA as well. During the final three games, Stubbings played a vital role in securing a 6-0 win against Northwest Tech on sophomore night. In the match, the sophomore forward gained two goals on three shots and had an assist on the last goal of the game.

Stubbings closed out the season against Hesston College in prime fashion. During the 7-1 victory for the Blue and White, he netted a hat trick on four shots and assisted on two other PCC goals.

With a week of five goals and three assists, Stubbings has proven why he is the KJCCC and NJCAA player of the week.
