Record Enrollment in Electrical Power Technology Program
Beginning fall 2009, there will be record enrollment in Pratt Community College’s Electrical Power Technology program with 44 new students.
In January 2010, PCC will be expanding the Electrical Power Technology program by offering satellite campuses in Dodge City and in Coffeeville. In the next five years, depending on the economy, there is expected to be a large number of job openings for linemen.
“We are just excited about having so many new students and are looking forward to the start of the program,” said Dave Campbell and Lane Gourley, electrical power technology instructors. “It is exciting to have that many people going into the industry.”
