Beavers defeated in opening round of playoffs by Dodge

The Beavers ended the season yesterday with 1-0 loss to Dodge City Community College in the first round of the playoffs. In the first half the Beavers defense held firm, yet the offense created very few chances.
 
The second half was much more exciting soccer with Nik Bohne and Gordo Rodriquez going close to scoring for the Beavers. Scott Robertson in the nets for the Beavers came up some big saves, but Dodge City came up with a goal after 25 minutes into the half.
 
PCC pressured Dodge for the last 20 minutes looking to tie the game, but the Dodge City goalkeeper came up with some big saves.
 
This loss ended the Beavers season.
 
"I’m very proud of all my guys," said Coach Kewley. "It was a terrific season finishing with 10-8 record and a 5th place finish."
