Lady Beavers Start Out Volleyball Season 3-1

Lamar, Col., -- Over the weekend the Beaver Volleyball team traveled to Larmar Community College in Colorado where they defeated Hesston College, Colorado Northwestern, and were defeated by Lamar Community College. On Saturday the Lady Beavers avenged their defeat against Lamar CC before falling to Otero and Trinidad State.
 
The Lady Beavers defeated Hesston in their match 3-2, and swept Colorado Northwestern 3-0. After playing for nine hours, the Lady Beavers were worn down by Lamar, and swept 3-0; however, the Lady Beavers got revenge on Saturday whinning the rematch 3 games to 2. 
 
Tomorrow the Lady Beavers will travel to face the defending DII NJCAA National Champions, the Cowley Tigers before playing their first at home match on Thursday against Dodge City at 6:30 p.m.
