Harrod helps Lady Beavers win first conference game of the season

Conference play got off to a good start Tuesday as the Lady Beavers Soccer Team traveled to Kansas City Kansas Community College, where they defeated KCKCC 3-0.
The Lady Beavers travelled to Kansas City on Tuesday with hopes of getting the team, and their record, back on track. The Lady Beavers came out swinging and scored their first goal in the opening minutes of the game. The Lady Beavers kept on scoring, led by Holly Harrod, who recorded her first career hat trick. Lady Beavers goalies also held their ground, recording the Lady Beavers’ first shut out of the season.  
 
“This is the kind of performance I expect from the girls. It was great watching them realize and perform to their potential,” said Schicke. “A great win for the team, and an amazing individual performance by Holly.”
 
The women’s soccer team will face Western Nebraska Community College this Saturday at 11 a.m.
