Rodeo competes well at Fort Scott

The Pratt Community College Rodeo Team traveled to Fort Scott March 9-11.
In steer wrestling Mitchell Gardner, of Dover, Okla., split second in the long round while the team of Colton Musick, of Pierre, S.D.,and Cesar Hernandez, of Kinsley, placed second in the team roping.
Gardner had a little run of bad luck in the short round breaking the barrier to win the round and average.
In the short-go the team ropers came up short with a head loop that didn’t fit.
The team will be off the trail for almost a month, but will continue to practice and prepare for Weatherford, Okla. in April.
