Men’s Basketball win at Garden City

The Pratt Community College Men’s Basketball team took on the Garden City Broncbusters on Sat., Feb. 18. The Beavers jumped out to an early lead, and going to half time with a score of 40-20. In the start of the second half, they extended the lead a little, then the Busters went on a 16-37 run, and the score was 64-60, Beavers, with 3:40 left to play.
Sophomores Trae Beck and John Rutherford countered with two back-to-back three pointers, and the team allowed Garden City to score six points the rest of the game. The final score was 76-66, Beavers.
