Shooting Sports Club Practices Wednesday Evenings
Anyone who is interested in shooting, or just attending to see what the Shooting Sports Club all about is welcome to come to the practices. The club practices each Wednesday night at the Pratt Gun Club at 6:00 p.m., located ¼ mile North of the college, and East.
First there will be a briefing on safety and range rules. You must bring eye and ear protection. Clear or yellow glasses are suggested, since we may shoot after dark (the range has stadium lighting). Cost is $2.50/ 25 targets. You may bring your own ammunition, field loads are not allowed. 1 1/8 oz. shot maximum.
As a reminder, firearms are not allowed on campus. If you need a place to store your guns, bring them to the Gun Club on Wednesday and we will make arrangements.
We will hold weekly practices on Wednesdays at 6 p.m., weather permitting. You may also shoot without the PCC team on Thursdays from 7-10 p.m., come and go as you please.
