Cordell Breaks Another PCC Record

Joe Cordell sets new Indoor Weight Throw record.
Monday, February 08, 2010

For the second time this season, PCC Track Team standout Joe Cordell has broken an almost two decade old record.  This time it was the Men's Indoor Weight Throw, which was set by Greg Keeton at 40'3.5" in 1991.  Cordell threw 40'5.5" on Saturday at the Central Missouri State Mule Relays.

"Joe is a very hard worker," said Head Coach Cyrus Hall, "and he’s never thrown the weight before until a few months ago. So, I’m sure by the time he receives his degree from PCC he’ll have put that record out of reach for a while."
