Rotaract -- Humane Society Landscaping Project

On Friday, October 9, members of Pratt Community College's Rotaract organization worked several hours at the Pratt Area Humane Society landscaping the grounds. The group applied for a grant from the South Central Kansas Community Foundation last year and was awarded $2500 for the project. The PAHS board of director, Judy Montei, worked with the group and arranged for the plants and signage to be purchased, delivered and planted. The Rotaract group help finish off the project with weed barrier and mulch. In addition to the two areas which were the focus, the group also planted bushes next to the building.
